Hello, my friends! Today we are bringing you the top five cigars that are nice little short smokes, we’re going to call it, Top Five Short Smokes. Easy enough.
Now let’s face it, there’s a lot of times you want to enjoy a nice cigar, but you just don’t have the time. You’ve got errands to run, the wife needs the thing, and the kids have a what’s going on thing over there. You want to enjoy a nice little smoke. That’s where these cigars come into play.
We’re going to start off with one of the most popular, the Drew Estate Papas Fritas. This is a miniaturized version in their Unico series, which includes Liga Privada, the Dirty Rats and everything.
Nice dark broad leaf maduro wrapper, so you know I love it. Brazilian tobacco in there as well, Nicaraguan. Nice little pigtail. Very inexpensive but very good, very powerful. If you’re a maduro fan, this is a short cigar that I would definitely choose.
2. Warped Maestro del Tiempo
Speaking of not having enough time to smoke, how about you become a master of time with the Warped Maestro del Tiempo. Fantastic cigar, handcrafted by Aganorsa Leaf using those Corojo and Criollo tobaccos for a very Cubanesque smoke. Little caramel notes in there, some almond taste as well, a little hazelnut. Very complex but smooth, medium bodied. Fantastic, fantastic cigar.
Not only have I had this cigar in a lot of top fives, I’ve had it in this size in a lot of top fives. This is the Tatuaje Black in that short kind of petite robusto-ish almost size. Pure Nicaraguan joy right here. Handcrafted by my father. For some reason I’m a big Tatuaje fan. I’m a big Tatuaje Black fan. I love it in this size. It’s condensed. There’s a lot more smoke but it’s still smooth. The flavor is nice and intense. Just a fantastic overall cigar.
4. Black Works Studio Killer Bee
One of the companies I’ve really been following a lot the past year, as you can see from a lot of the videos is, Black Label Trading Company and their little subdivision known as, Black Works Studio. This is the Killer Bee from Black Works Studio. It’s a kind of off, side project, but really cool, really intense smoke. Ecuadorian wrap around there. Got that little bit of a barber pole up top if you see it really close. It’s got like the cap is almost done with a different wrapper. A cool design, outstanding smoke, from one of the coolest and most innovative companies out there right now.
Lastly, you know I couldn’t leave my boy Jon Huber and Crowned Heads out of this. We have the Luminosa. Handcrafted by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. Uses a Connecticut wrapper, so it’s smooth but not too mellow. That nice medium body with that creamy, you know, nutty taste of a Connecticut wrapper. Fantastic smoke from one of the coolest guys in the industry, and I’m not just saying that because he gives me free hats. Yeah, yeah. But still, great cigar.
My friends, as always, very limited sampler of these cigars. The link will be posted down below. Make sure you buy it before they call run out. Good luck!
